When I right-click a link and click "Open in a new window", I get an very tiny window, which I must resize manually. See image below. I am not afraid to use regedit, it that is what it takes. But I would prefer a more straightforward method. I know that something does work, because I have done it before. But I don't remember what I did because I try this and that until I stumble upon a solution.

This is handy, because Developer Tools are a standard part of the browser. The Chrome Developer Tools panel opens in your browser. By default, it opens either at the right-hand side or at the bottom of your browser window. It can also open as an independent window. I have mine set to open at the bottom.
